Lisa Lorenz, principal of Rice Memorial High School, awarded high school diplomas to 110 graduating seniors during the school’s 59th commencement ceremonies June 3 at Rice’s Bill Hammond Gymnasium. Of the 110 graduates, 92 percent will be pursuing higher education this fall, having been accepted into a total of 473 different colleges and universities. These graduates have cumulatively completed over 9,000 hours of community service over their four years at Rice and have won a total of 14 state championships. Graduates from South Burlington include Molly Altadonna ~, Tucker Avonda ~, Manyl Boudjeltia, Tracy Ferguson *~, Jordan Finkelstein *~, Michaela Forgione *~, Liam Hariri ~, Avery Marti ~, Ethan McCabe ~, Molly MaCabe ~, Junior Ndayikengurukiye *~, Finian Saunders, Jaden Varin *~. *Four Year Honors, ~ National Honor Society.
