Election Day is March 7, but early voting is available to South Burlington voters, in person at the city clerk’s office at 550 Dorset Street prior to the election, or by requesting an early ballot. Absentee ballots can be obtained by calling the city clerk’s office at 846-4105. The deadline to vote early, or request an early ballot is Monday, March 6.

Are you Registered to Vote?
There are several ways to register to vote. Stop by the city clerk’s office to pick up an application, or call the office at 846-4105 to have the application mailed to you. You may also visit the Vermont Secretary of State’s website to download the application at: or go to OLVR (on-line voter registration) and register on-line.

Election Day Voter Registration
Election Day Voter Registration is now available for all elections in the city. However, in order to make your election day experience less stressful it is recommended that you verify your voting status in the city prior to Election Day.
